  • Founder, Event Director 

    As the founder of Max Events, Jodie brings over 15 years of experience producing and managing large-scale festivals, sporting events, and community projects. Her career includes extensive time in venue management, where she supported some of the world’s most exciting and logistically complex events. These experiences laid the foundation of her expertise in operations, risk management, and stakeholder relations.

    As a leader, Jodie is dedicated to fostering a transparent and collaborative culture in the events industry. She is passionate about mentoring future event leaders and creating spaces where teams feel empowered to thrive.

    Whether overseeing a three-day outdoor festival in Toronto or producing a two-day, 2,000-attendee trade show, Jodie excels at managing end-to-end components of large events through the development of strong relationships built on trust, accountability and mutual respect.  

  • Founder, Technical Director 

    Mike brings more than 35 years of experience across live entertainment, technical production, touring, festivals and major event environments. His career has been built around understanding how shows actually work — from audio, staging and technical design to supplier coordination, artist requirements and onsite execution.

    Mike is known for his deep technical knowledge, meticulous attention to detail and practical approach to problem-solving. He has spent decades working alongside artists, venues, production companies and technical suppliers, developing strong industry relationships and a reputation for getting the details right.

    Whether designing production systems for a large outdoor festival, advancing a major touring show or helping a venue determine the right technical infrastructure for its future, Mike brings calm judgement, high standards and a clear understanding of how technical decisions impact the broader event experience.  

  • Event Director 

    Natalie Ciarallo is a seasoned event professional with extensive experience in both corporate and agency settings, specializing in large-scale national and international conferences and events. As a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and a Sustainable Event Professional (SEPC), Natalie is a leader in the event industry, known for her expertise in live, virtual, and hybrid event management.

    Over the course of her career, she has led key events like Nestlé Canada’s national conference, overseeing 1,000 attendees, 65 speakers, and a tradeshow. She also played a crucial role in organizing QuickBooks Connect across multiple cities, managing 500-800 attendees, 85 speakers, and coordinating 4 stages per event.

    Natalie’s comprehensive skill set includes strategic planning, content development, stage and lighting design, vendor management, and post-event analysis. She is recognized for her attention to detail and her ability to seamlessly execute events from concept to completion.

  • Event Coordinator

    Seulkee is an experienced event coordinator with a strong background in organizing large-scale festivals, conferences, and community events. She has expertise in logistics, vendor relations, volunteer coordination, and customer service. Notably, Seulkee contributed to the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, supporting logistics across five outdoor stages with over 150 performances, and helping to attract more than 500,000 attendees over 10 days. She also played a key role in planning an international outdoor trail walking festival, where she managed volunteer coordination, registration, and attendee inquiries. Seulkee’s experience extends to high-profile global events, including the 2018 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games and TIFF, where she focused on customer service and operational efficiency.

  • Health & Safety Lead

    Nauaien brings more than 20 years of experience across security, health and safety, guest services and major event operations. Her background includes senior roles with the Canadian National Exhibition and Exhibition Place, where she was responsible for medical coordination, security operations, crowd management, incident reporting and emergency response across some of Toronto’s largest public event environments.

    Her strength is in building the systems that help teams respond well when conditions change. From emergency preparedness and crisis-management planning to traffic flow, guest safety and interdepartmental coordination, Nauaien brings a calm, practical approach to complex event operations.

    Whether supporting a large festival site, coordinating with medical and security teams or helping develop clear emergency procedures, Nauaien is focused on creating environments that are safe, well-prepared and welcoming for everyone.
