Jodie and Mike
Jodie leads Event Management. Mike leads Technical Production. Together, they bring the two disciplines that determine whether a complex event works under one company and one standard of accountability.

Jodie
Event Director and Chief Operating Officer
Jodie brings more than 20 years of event leadership experience across outdoor sites, conference centres, arenas and stadiums, including Vancouver 2010 and senior venue leadership roles with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. She sees both the full operating picture and the ten-foot details that can change an event’s outcome. With a master’s degree in counselling psychology, Jodie combines direct communication, calm problem-solving and an instinctive understanding of the people and teams behind every successful event.
Mike
Technical Director
Mike brings more than 35 years of technical production experience across live events, touring shows, arenas, festivals and complex venue environments. He translates creative ideas into technical plans that can actually be built, operated and delivered safely. Clients rely on his practical judgment, calm leadership and ability to bring multiple suppliers and crews together around one show.
Seulkee
Manager Event Operations
Seulkee keeps the operational engine moving. She manages contracts, documentation, coordination and the administrative systems that allow complex event teams to work from accurate information. Her attention to detail supports the client experience long before the team arrives onsite.
Natalie
Executive Producer
Natalie brings strategic thinking, senior client leadership and experience across complex corporate programs. She helps connect the event to the organization’s broader goals, strengthen client relationships and identify the people and partnerships required to move ambitious work forward. An experienced event pro, Natalie is known for her ability to manage high volumes of detail, anticipate needs before they arise and keep every moving part on track. She brings a meticulous eye, a solutions-oriented mindset and the expertise to ensure nothing gets missed.

Max Events can bring up to 200 event staff into an onsite delivery team when the event requires it. More importantly, we have access to experienced leaders across operations, logistics, stage management, show calling, registration, ticketing, exhibitor management, technical production, creative, strategy and public relations.
Every person is selected, briefed and managed by Max. The team grows. Accountability stays put.
why max exists
Max Events was founded in 2022 after Jodie and Mike saw the post-pandemic event industry asking junior teams and individual suppliers to carry responsibilities that required broader experience and independent judgment.
There had to be a better way: experienced leadership, flexible teams and financial transparency without unnecessary layers.
